My name is Giovanni Campanella. I was born in Lucca Sicula (Sicily); my family was made up of seven children among which I was the youngest. It was in Calimonaci, through the testimony of my aunt Emanuela Cocchiara, that I heard for the first time that Jesus Christ is the Only Savior to follow in order to have eternal life. A while later, I attended an Evangelical meeting in Ribera. At the same time, I was offered a Bible. I began to read it with interest, especially the historical parts. One day I heard a sermon by Serafino Scorsone that made me realize what my condition before God was.
So I came hurriedly back home to give my heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. On my knees, I asked Him to forgive my sins and to come into my life. When I stood up, I was aware He had come in me. I bent on my knees one more time to thank Him.
