Many people underestimate the reality of the hell. I take it literally. First of all, because the Bible teaches it, and second because God has granted me to have a miraculous and at the same time terrible experience; it is something that I cannot deny. My name is Domenico B.. I was born 73 years ago in Cattolica Eraclea (Italy). When I was 18, in 1965, I emigrated to Mannheim (Germany) . My wife and I have 5 children. For a long time I’ve been attending Christian meetings, but I did it only to make my wife happy, because she was a believer long since. In July 2003 I was affected by a terrible illness and I was carried to the hospital. I had a huge abdominal pain and a serious hemorrhage (I’ve lost 4 liters of blood).
The diagnosis was: Duodenal Ulcer. The conditions were precarious, I lapsed into a coma. My wife and my children were very worried about me. Meantime, many Evangelical Communities were praying for me (Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, Sicily…). While I was in coma, the Lord gave me visions that I lived as if they were real.
I was standing in front of the Hell’s door, I was tied, I couldn’t move and, in that vision, I was waiting to go inside. All of a sudden, I remembered the Lord and I started calling upon Jesus’ name, After many prayers, I saw a man, the boss of that place, who told me: “Praying is useless! Nobody is going to help you!” But I kept praying. It was a damned place. I escaped from that cursed door and I was suddenly standing in front of the Heaven’s door, but nobody let me pass. An angel opened a book and told me I had to tidy up my life, and told me that he was not going to let me pass. I was taken back at the 1st place I had seen: the Hell’s door. My petitions became more intense because before the Hell’s door four people were pulling me inside to make me suffer that torment. But as soon as I saw them approach, I started to shout Jesus’ name and they went back. I also remember a moment in which they brought me into the hell, the diabolical atmosphere made me sick. I was put to penal servitude. I felt terribly thirsty, I asked for some water but the guardian was indifferent to me and didn’t give it to me, because there was no water in there. I turned to look in what place I ended up. I saw burned soil and moats full of fire and scorching heat. It was unbearably hot. But there was no water, even if I asked for it, nobody listened to me. In the vision, I restarted to pray. I was brought just for a little while in Heaven, just enough to feel the deep peace that reigned there . In that moment a cloud took me and brought me in my hospital room. Suddenly I felt a strange sensation. A messenger of God, was standing by my side and told me: “Don’t be scared of anything! The Lord has sent me to sustain you and to strengthen you”. And that’s the last memory I have before waking up.
I woke up 10 days later and you cannot imagine the joy I felt looking at my whole family all around you. My first words were that I would have gone to the meetings, and that I would have told everybody the vision I have lived. Heaven and hell do really exist! My wife was shocked by my words, she had faith in God and she used to pray for me everyday but she could not imagine that I would have met Jesus personally this way. It has happened more than she had asked. I think that the Lord has put me on probation because I was hard-hearted, and I didn’t want to believe in the Gospel. In this particular situation, the Lord wanted to show me the Heaven he offers to all the believers and the hell, the place for all the people who refuse Jesus Christ. I chose the Heaven. The following day I was given a New Testament with the Psalms. Reading it, I found that the Psalm 116 was for me: “The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came over me; I was overcome by distress and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the Lord: “Lord save me!”.
Romans 10:13 “All who call on the Lord’s name will be saved”.
2 Thessalonians 1: 8-9 “He will give you justice with blazing fire to those who don’t recognize God and don’t obey the good news of our Lord Jesus. They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and away from His mighty glory”.
I want something to be clear: it is on this earth that we have to choose between heaven or hell. Don’t wait on heavenly visions , because God could also choose to reveal Himself to you in a different way, specifically through His Word, the Bible.
Luke 16:19-31 “There was a certain rich man who clothed himself in purple and fine linen, and who feasted luxuriously every day. At his gate lay a certain poor man named Lazarus who was covered with sores. Lazarus longed to eat the crumbs that fell from the rich man’s table. Instead, dogs would come and lick his sores. “The poor man died and was carried by angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. While being tormented in the place of the dead, he looked up and saw Abraham at a distance with Lazarus at his side. He shouted, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me. Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I’m suffering in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that during your lifetime you received good things, whereas Lazarus received terrible things. Now Lazarus is being comforted and you are in great pain. Moreover, a great crevasse has been fixed between us and you. Those who wish to cross over from here to you cannot. Neither can anyone cross from there to us.’ “The rich man said, ‘Then I beg you, Father, send Lazarus to my father’s house. I have five brothers. He needs to warn them so that they don’t come to this place of agony.’ Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets. They must listen to them.’ The rich man said, ‘No, Father Abraham! But if someone from the dead goes to them, they will change their hearts and lives.’ Abraham said, ‘If they don’t listen to Moses and the Prophets, then neither will they be persuaded if someone rises from the dead.’”
Now I’m healed and I want to thank God forever for what He has done in my life. I’ve seen the hell and I wish you’ll never see it!
