Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house”.

I accepted Jesus in my life in 1992 and I got baptized in 1994. I want to thank the Lord one more time for having saved me and forgiven me all my past, present and future sins through His Holy blood. After my conversion, although I used to take part to the Sunday worship, I lived superficially for several years.

I used to fall back on excuses, saying I hadn’t enough time; I read the Bible now and then and I prayed too less, the majority of the times hurriedly in my bedroom, secretly. My life went this way until the Lord rebuked me. He put me on probation. I lived hard times, but I understood I was walking away from Him and I became aware I wasn’t faithful to His teaching. In His great love, the Lord has been next to me all the time, giving me more than I deserved. Humbling myself in His presence made me realize my lamp wasn’t just under a bowl, but almost extinguished as well. The Lord has changed me and I thank Him all the days of my life, every morning. Now praying isn’t a secondary thing for meanymore;it’s a need. I pray every day the Lord to shape me like an earthenware jar in His hands; then I pray that my family could believe in the Lord too, and finally I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially when there’s something specific to pray for. According to me, praying is a mission. I really experienced and realized prayer is the most powerful weapon we have, the secret weapon that allows us to have a direct communication with God, through the Holy Spirit. My advice for you is to pray even for the things that seem little and easy, so you’ll have true peace in your mind and in your heart. Prayers open the Heaven’s door for us in Jesus’ name. I’ve also recovered the desire to read the Bible daily. I can’t do without it. The Bible is a hidden treasure we can find only if we dig up deeply. Every day I discover teaching, knowledge, wisdom, peace, harmony and love towards the others. I thank my Lord for what He’s done for me every day of my life.

Psalm 90:12 “ Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom”.
